Are PET bottles recyclable?
Absolutely. Crafted from Polyethylene Terephthalate, PET containers are 100% recyclable plastic. They are also sturdy enough to be reused multiple times for purposes other than the original.

Are PET jars and bottles fully waterproof?
Yes, the container itself is waterproof. But in practice, it is only impervious with the right cap. For instance, caps without liners or with PS 22 (pressure-sensitive) liners are not best suited for liquids. This liner type is usually ideal for dry and solid products such as powders and pills. The PS 22 seal can effectively preserve the dryness of your product. It is not waterproof, though, since the liner requires a dry surface on the bottle to stick.

This budget-friendly liner serves as a leakproof barrier. While the EPE is a general-purpose cap liner, its true calling is liquids and water-based supplements, like lotions. If you’re looking for an airtight seal, use the induction liner rather than the EPE.
What is induction cap sealing?
This is what you’re looking for if your products require a hermetic or airtight closure. The induction liner creates the most secure seal of all. Any tampering with the opening is readily apparent as the liner is applied with an induction sealing machine and is impossible to reseal. Use with your dry and wet supplements that need special attention. The liner comes with a choice of plain or printed with a message like “sealed for your protection”.
