Material colour
- Premium WhitePremium White paper, characterized as GC1, is a high-quality paper that is white on both sides. This gives it a clean and refined look, enhancing the perceived value of the product it encases. The uniform white surface is ideal for high-resolution printing, making it perfect for luxury items or products that require vibrant and detailed graphics.
- KraftKraft Paper is a brown-colored material which gives a organic, rustic appearance. This type of material is commonly used for packaging products that benefit from a natural or "green" presentation.
- Economy WhiteEconomy White paper, known as GD, is a cost-effective solution that features a white exterior and a non-white interior. This type of paper is suitable for products where external appearance is important but internal aesthetics are less of a priority. The white outside allows for clear and attractive branding while keeping costs lower than both sides white alternatives.
Can I have something printed inside my envelope?
We do not offer the option of printing inside cardboard envelopes through our standard range. However, if you need that option, please fill in a brief and a packhelper will get in touch with you shortly.
What size of documents fit in particular cardboard envelopes?
We offer two sizes of cardboard envelopes:
- C4 (32.4 cm x 22.9 cm): perfect for A4 documents, photos and small flat items.
- C5 (23 cm x 16.6 cm): fits A5 documents, photos, gift cards and other flat items.
What is the difference between the white and the natural kraft material?
Both white and natural kraft are made from the same material, carton. Cardstock is lighter than cardboard, has lower grammage and doesn’t include fluting (layers made from recycled paper).
White cardstock is recommended if you wish to print large parts or the entire envelope in a solid colour. The natural kraft option works best for minimalist designs, or along with darker colours – deep brown, black or navy blue.
