While the outer layer coating on these materials may vary, rest assured that all coatings utilised by Packhelp are entirely food-safe. Whether it's the traditional options like PP and PE coatings or the bio-based alternatives such as PLA and CPLA coatings, all comply with the stringent directives concerning food security.
The recyclability of your takeaway boxes and food containers depends on the materials they are made from. For instance, paper and cardboard can generally be recycled unless they have a PP layer coating. PE coating is generally fine for recycling. However, it's important to note that if your paper bag or cardboard box gets greasy, it becomes unsuitable for recycling.
